** ABOUT ME**
With 10+ years of experience and leadership in software engineering at Airbnb, I evolved my career from a computational biology double major to new grad product engineer up until a staff infrastructure IC, switching over to a Tech Lead Manager (TLM) of a product platform team, to managing multiple infrastructure teams as an Engineering Manager. Initially very shy and quiet, I challenged myself to try public speaking. I’ve now given 13+ technical and management conference talks internationally to audiences of hundreds of technologists. Additionally, I’ve had extensive mentorship experience with SWE clients in other tech companies, students from a non-profit organization as well as my alma mater, and volunteer work with at-risk youth. I have accredited training from the Co-Active Coaching Institute as commitment to improving my coaching skills.
